EulogyCraft is operated by Gentle Tributes.

What We Collect

We collect only what we need to create your eulogies and deliver them to you:

• Your email address — so we can send you the completed eulogies.
• Your questionnaire responses — the details you share about your loved one (their name, your relationship, memories, personality traits, and other details you choose to provide). This is used solely to generate your eulogies.
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We never see, handle, or store your card number or payment details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment processing.
• Basic technical data — standard web server information like your browser type and IP address, collected automatically when you visit our site.

How We Use Your Information

• To generate your eulogies — your questionnaire responses are sent to our AI system (Claude by Anthropic) to create your three eulogy variations.
• To deliver your eulogies — we use your email address to send the completed eulogies to you.
• To process your payment — handled by Stripe.
• To improve our service — we may review anonymized, aggregated data to make EulogyCraft better. We will never publish or share the personal details of your loved one.

Who Sees Your Information

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — your questionnaire responses are sent to Anthropic's API to generate the eulogies. Anthropic's usage policies apply.
• Stripe — processes your payment. Stripe's privacy policy applies.
• Gmail (Google Workspace) — delivers your eulogies by email. Google's privacy policy applies.
• Supabase — securely stores your order data. Supabase's privacy policy applies.
• No one else — we do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone. We do not use your data for advertising.

How We Protect Your Information

• Your data is stored securely using Supabase with encryption at rest.
• Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe — we never touch your card details.
• Access to your data is limited to what is necessary to deliver your order.

How Long We Keep Your Data

• We retain your order data (email, questionnaire responses, generated eulogies) so that you can request your eulogies again if needed.
• If you would like your data deleted, email us at [email protected] and we will remove it promptly.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct any inaccurate information.
• Delete your data from our systems.
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

Where We Operate

EulogyCraft is operated by Gentle Tributes, within the European Union. We serve customers primarily in the United States, Canada, and Australia. We handle all personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your data may be processed by third-party services (Stripe, Supabase, Anthropic, Google) whose servers may be located outside the EU. By using our service, you consent to this transfer.

Children

EulogyCraft is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for the site to function (such as maintaining your questionnaire session). We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Plausible is a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. No individual visitor can be identified.
